We as a community can support conservation (saving resources, animals, etc…) by the use of technology. People can use technology to spread the message out world wide. It is very important to know what you want to do and how you want the message to be send. People can use technology in many ways, whether it be a video, podcast, website, collage, etc… I will perform an example of how to set up a website about conservation on Wix. The Project Based Learning unit I have been working on is having different groups of students working on different conservations. The students will make their websites based on their topic. Students will share their ideas, research, and pictures to others.

Here are videos provided that shows how to get started on making and editing your own website on Wix.

Its going to be great when all the website is all finished and done, so it can be shared and viewed by others. People can see the hard work and dedication of how much work, ideas, and research came into the website. This is a great project for students to collaborate with others in groups, and share their information about conservation. People can see that conservation is very important to the world and our daily lives, when they see the students blogs.

I love this cartoon because the girl is telling her father about her blog and that he can read what she has been working on. If this is connected to the PBL unit, the father could be reading about conserving energy, and that is where the message spreads. He could tell his friends about his daugther’s work or tell the mother that they need to conserve.
